Introduction

 

Over my lifetime, there has been new technology pressing out from every end of the world, making day to day tasks simpler. Through these advancements, other daily tasks or necessary abilities go by the wayside, replaced by technology. The rise of mobile phones’ advancement, as well as video games and increased home enterntainment has put a perceived strain on social interaction. As somebody who grew up using technology but lacking in social ability, the underlying effects of technology on social isolation were important for me to divulge into. The development of social media and it’s twofold role in harboring both social isolation and capital.
